    [rtl]The head of the Iraqi forum, Iyad Allawi, received in his office a US delegation headed by Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs David Schenker and the presence of Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Iraq Affairs and Iran Andrew Beck and US Ambassador to Iraq Matthew Toller.[/rtl]
    [rtl]During the meeting, they discussed the situation on the local scene, where Shinker valued Allawi's efforts in bringing Baghdad and Erbil closer to reaching just solutions to the outstanding issues, according to a statement by Allawi's office.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The meeting also discussed the regional situation, the need to abide by international law and respect for the sovereignty of other countries and non-interference in their affairs to prevent any escalation in the region, according to the statement.[/rtl]

    President of "Iraqi Tribune" Iyad Allawi discussed with a US delegation the developments of the situation locally and regionally.
