    The parliamentary Finance Committee, on Thursday, that it is considering lifting all privileges allocated to the Kurdistan Regional Government draft budget bill 2020 for failing to pay the financial dues of oil exports, while it showed that the budget will evade the commitment of Baghdad to pay the salaries of the region.
    "The Kurdistan Regional Government has not complied with the federal budget law for the year 2019 in terms of payment of oil dues and border crossings," said a member of the Committee Haneen al-Qaddu said in a statement to the "Information" that "the government of the Kurdistan region has been negligent with the Kurdistan Regional Government and took no deterrent action to implement Law".
    He added that "the financial committee is considering at the present time to lift all privileges from the Kurdistan government of the provisions of the draft federal budget law for 2020 as a deterrent to them," noting that "the most prominent paragraphs that will raise the commitment of the Government of Baghdad to pay the salaries of the region."
