The province of Dhi Qar on Tuesday accused the Ministry of Finance of crippling the economic movement in the province and disrupting life completely due to non-disbursement of the service budget for 2019.
Deputy Governor Adel al-Dakhili told Al-Maaloumah that "the province has completed all procedures and approvals of the budget of 2019 with the Council and the Ministry of Planning amounting to 206 billion dinars."
He added that "the Ministry of Finance has not launched allocations until now, despite the completion of all approvals," noting that "the province needs urgent disbursement to balance the service departments."
He explained that "the province paralyzed economic movement in full and suffer from almost complete disruption in the health and service sectors," charging "the Ministry of Finance to confuse the province and stop all its work."
