Iraqi Council of Ministers meeting for today
Iraqi cabinet ended its weekly session on Tuesday with a series of resolutions.
The meeting, according to a statement by Adel Abdul Mahdi's office, was read by Rawdaw Media Network, "Approval of the first amendment bill to the General Population and Housing Census Law No. (40) of 2008.
The Cabinet decided to exempt the Ministry of Planning from implementing the government contracts No. (2) And the controls attached to the purchase of supplies of the general census of the population and housing. "It
was approved" borrowing the General Company for grain trade / Ministry of Commerce of the Iraqi Trade Bank amount of trillion and four hundred billion Iraqi dinars for the purpose of payment of farmers' benefits for 2019.
Concerning the priorities of the draft laws, "the recommendation was passed to the Iraqi Council of Representatives on the continuation of the draft legislation (the Law of the Sixth Amendment to the Law of Implementation No. 45 of 1980 and the law dealing with the period of receipt of the applications stipulated in Law No. (13) of 2016 (79) for the year 2012. The
Council approved the "Yazidi Survivors' Bill and referred it to the Council of State for the purpose of auditing it duly and then return it to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in order to refer it directly to the Council of Representatives" .
And it discussed the Council of Ministers , according to the statement, " the reports of the Republic of Iraq on Human Rights / decision of the recommendations of the Central Committee (National Committee to write treaty reports to the agreements that joined or Iraq ratified and to respond to the observations and recommendations received from the treaty committees on human rights) and included: -
a. Report Special Republic of Iraq to the Convention against torture and other cruel , inhuman or cruel , inhuman or degrading punishment.
b. report to the Convention on the Protection of All persons from enforced disappearance. Republic of Iraq
c. report of the Republic of Iraq on civil Rights and the international Covenant The political. "
The Cabinet also decided to "re-present the draft law of the Twenty-first Amendment to the Law No. 25 of 1960 to the Council of Ministers and refer it to the House of Representatives."
