Dhi Qar Investment Commission granted a number of investment licenses to implement projects worth four billion dinars, while visited the airport Nasiriyah delegation representing Chinese groups of companies specialized in the design of the construction of international airports.
"The Authority recently granted three investment licenses for projects including the establishment of a factory for the manufacture of heavy equipment and the city of games in the district of Souk al-Shuyukh and a forum for youth and sports worth four billion dinars," said Emad Tarash al-Atabi, director of the authority.
He added that "the total vacations granted by the Commission during the period of its formation amounted to 21 investment licenses for different projects worth more than 150 billion dinars," noting that "the Commission continues to grant licenses in accordance with the controls and government regulations in force to attract investment companies to work in the province."
For its part, the administration of Nasiriyah airport announced the "visit of a delegation representing a group of Chinese companies specialized in the development of designs for international airports."
The director of Nasiriyah airport, Haider Zamili, said that "a delegation from several Chinese companies specialized in the design of the construction of airports in the world and has projects in many countries .. visited the airport and conducted a survey and study on the importance of the airport and factors that contributed to the establishment and strategic location and the economic situation enjoyed by the province "He said.
Al-Zamili added that "the delegation briefed on the airport facilities, runways, navigational equipment, spaces and roads, as well as their knowledge of the reality of the province and infrastructure, as they will study the airport and what it needs for the purpose of investment."
