Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali al-Hakim discussed with Canadian Parliamentarian Rob Oliphant the cooperation between the Iraqi and Canadian parliament.
Al-Hakim stressed the keenness of Iraq to push forward and strengthen relations between the two countries, calling on Canadian companies to invest in Iraq, especially in the field of reconstruction of infrastructure.
"The discussions focused on a range of topics that serve the strategic interests, including facilitating the entry features between the two countries, providing the best possible services to improve the conditions of the Iraqi community in Canada, and opening a flight line between Baghdad and Ottawa.
