    Salam Al-Shammari calls for the maximum benefit of economic agreements with neighboring countries without a negative impact on the local product

    The Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Water and Marshlands parliamentary Salam Shammari, the government and the concerned parties not to prefer products of neighboring countries, especially at the expense of local product.
    Al-Shammari said in a statement: "With the activation of relations with all countries politically and economically, in order to strengthen and strengthen Iraq's important position," noting that "this must be at the expense of the interests of Iraq and its people."
    He added: "The agreements recently signed with a number of neighboring countries is supported and welcome, but we accept to be at the expense of many local products, which we have reached to self-sufficiency."
    He stressed that the government authorities continue to prevent any external product has a similar local product and self-sufficient in order to protect it and encourage the private sector to continue domestic investment.
