[size=18]Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) MP Diyar Berwari said on Friday that the cabinet's vote on the draft law has created supporters and opponents, stressing the importance of the council not to define the powers and create a centralized but should give a strategy for action and a clear vision for reconstruction.

Barwari said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "The draft law of the Council of Reconstruction created a kind of support and criticism among the political forces," noting that "those who support the project see it as central in the reconstruction of Iraq and the unification of all strategic projects, contracts and advertising."

"Critics see it as an abhorrent centrality, and go toward setting powers in the capital only," he said. It is clear to the reconstruction optimally, not to define the powers and create a central decision-making and confined to the Council only. "

The Council of Ministers approved during its weekly session, Tuesday, September 17, 2019, the draft law of the reconstruction council.
