[size=18]President Barham Saleh stressed on Wednesday the need for a fundamental reshuffle, indicating that this will improve the performance of the government to achieve a qualitative leap in its work to provide services.

Saleh said in a statement issued during a meeting with a number of elders and notables of Sadr City, and received Alsumaria News, a copy of it that "President Barham Saleh received at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, a number of tribal elders and notables in Sadr City."

Salih stressed that "the Iraqis are determined to move forward in the project of building the state and our duty to carry out necessary reforms that ensure them a free and dignified life," stressing that "the demonstration is a right guaranteed to every citizen provided that it is peaceful and without the bloodshed of citizens and security forces or bypassing public property."

He added that "the presidency will support compensation for those affected and work to hold criminals and outlaws who fired at the demonstrators."

He stressed "the need for a fundamental reshuffle to improve the performance of the government to achieve a qualitative leap in its work to provide services and employment of the unemployed and achieve social justice."
