    The Turkish military is using the M60-A1 tanks developed by Israel in Operation Spring of Peace in northeastern Syria, the Jerusalem Post reported.
    The newspaper confirmed that the images of the tanks worked by the Israeli Military Industries Company has been circulated on social networking sites, where a number of them appeared in the Turkish border town of Agca Castle.
    Between 2003 and 2010, 170 tanks of this type were equipped with 120-mm cannons, along with advanced launch, control and armor systems.
    Ankara and Tel Aviv have been allies in the field of defense, security coordination, intelligence sharing and military training since 1960. The relationship reached a peak in the 1990s with the signing of the Defense Coordination Agreement in 1994 and the Military Training Coordination Agreement in 1996.
