Dahlaki warns of popular explosion against Abdul Mahdi's government
Raad al-Dahlaki, a leader of the Iraqi Forces Alliance, said that the government has placed itself in the field of deceiving the public and public opinion. In official statements, the government is with the freedom to demonstrate and express opinion and condemns the targeting of demonstrators and activists, while at the same time its security services and some of its officials in the provinces arrest and beat them.
"Is the policy of contradiction of positions the solution in the management of the state and control of the reins of government? Or do you want to stay in power at any cost, even if it is at the expense of the interests of your people and the lack of security and dignity and the loss of control and national role."
He added that "audio recordings and videos that appear daily on the media confirm the involvement of security officials and civilians to target and arrest demonstrators and activists and this is a great injustice to Iraqis as there are responsible parties abuse of power against the Iraqi people and here the right of the people to try those who shed blood."
"How do you want the people to believe you and protect your regime if you target, arrest and torture him and then tell him we are with you to express your opinion?" Dahlaki told the government. .
