Iraq and Norway sign the oil-for-development agreement, Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi's office said on Monday.
"Iraq and Norway sign the oil-for-development agreement," the office said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
"We are focusing on the importance of maintaining peaceful demonstrations in Iraq," Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg told a news conference with Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi in Baghdad.

For his part, Abdul-Mahdi said, "Victory over terrorism prevented the transfer of terrorist groups from the region to the rest of the world."
He added, "Iraq needs support in the face of terrorism and cooperation in its strategic relations to maintain the sovereignty and independence of States."
