Wasit provincial council dissolved, on Thursday, to hand over the functions of the provincial and district councils and districts in the province until the outcome of the appeal submitted to the resolution of the resolution and the outcome of the parliament session on Saturday.
Council member Ghalib Al-Rudaini told Al-Maalouma that "the governorate, district and district councils are completely disabled and have not handed over their duties to the governor so far."
He added that "the disruption of the delivery of those councils to the governor is due to the existence of appeals before the Federal Court," noting that "delivery pending the response of the court and what will result in the upcoming parliamentary session next Saturday."
Earlier, the House of Representatives voted to dissolve the provincial, district and district councils and hand over its functions to the governors.
