The Parliamentary Legal Committee confirmed on Sunday that the preparation of a new election law and the selection of a fair commission will not exceed one month.
A member of the Committee Hussein al-Oqabi in a statement to / information /, "The House of Representatives is able to pass the amendment of the election law and the formation of a new commission with non-partisan members and enjoy the integrity of a period not exceeding one month," pointing out that "out of the current crisis is achieved through elections early".
He added that "early elections are a real solution to meet the demands of the demonstrators and go towards a transitional government for three months," noting that "the election law must be radically amended because its paragraphs are for political interests and not for the interests of citizens."
The deputy of the Alliance Sauron Raad Hussein, on Sunday, that the holding of early elections to resolve the current crisis will not benefit without changing the election law to elect individuals and not political parties and blocs.
