The Integrity Commission announced on Monday the details of its investigative procedures in the case of Una Oil Company, indicating the continued investigation into the details of the case and the referral of those found deficient to the judiciary.
"The investigative team on the case has completed many of its work and referred those who proved their shortcomings to the judiciary," the commission said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
She pointed out, "The team recorded the statements of a number of stakeholders and witnesses, including the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, the Director General of the South Oil Company, the Director-General of the South Refineries Company, the Director of the escalation of export energy project and the Director of the Security Permits Office in the former Ministry of Oil and a number of others named in the Investigation or summoned to testify in the case, as well as other owners and officials of companies. "
`` The coordination and direct action between the team and the competent investigating judge led to the issuance of a warrant of arrest and search of the accused in the case based on the provisions of Article 340 of the Penal Code, and the Commission's recovery service was approached to open a file for their recovery, '' it said.
