    Economy News - Baghdad
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the recovery of about 150 million dinars, which it deducted from the violators of the protection network subsidies, while 185 families of martyrs were exempted from these deductions as a result of the excess.
The Minister of Labor, Dr. Bassem Abdel Zaman, said in a statement reported by the official newspaper "Al-Sabah" and seen by the "Economic News", that the ministry "recovered about 150 million dinars deducted from those who exceeded the benefits of social protection network during the past month, depending on the government debt collection law No. (56) (1977).
He stressed that "the refunds were paid in cash or in the form of installments of the transgressors, employees, retirees and other categories," revealing that the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers had extended the period of installment of the refund of funds to ten years after the repayment period does not exceed five years.
He pointed out that `` 185 families of martyrs have been exempted from financial deductions pursuant to Cabinet Resolution No. 112 of 2019, '' noting that his ministry follows legal instructions to include other categories of transgressors by exempting financial deductions from martyrs of terrorist operations.
