The deputy of the Saire Alliance, Riyad Mohammed, on Sunday accused Parliament Speaker Mohammed Halbousi of obstructing the questioning of Finance Minister Fouad Hussein and Oil Minister Thamer Ghadhban for four months.
Mohammed said in a statement to the information, that "the presidency of the parliament, represented by Mohammed Halbousi received several requests to question the ministers of oil and finance four months ago, but they did not respond to them," pointing out that "failure to respond to the implementation of the interrogations took place because of the relationship of ministers with Halbosi."
He added that "Halbousi has become an impediment to achieve the questioning of the ministers of finance and oil for several times despite the submission of parliamentary requests to do so," noting that "the rules of procedure of the House of Representatives only gave the Speaker the power to determine the date of questioning."
He explained that "personal relations between the Speaker of the Parliament and the ministers behind the procrastination and disruption of the process of interrogation of a number of ministers of the current government negligent."
The alliance described on Saturday, the reforms of Parliament Speaker Mohammed Halbousi false and political marketing at the expense of the interest of the demonstrators, while Halbousi is trying to ride the wave of demonstrations by supporting the demonstrations and talk about government reforms to meet the demands of the demonstrators.
