The White House has adopted an assessment of the position of the US embassy to hold early elections in Iraq, the head of the Akhdar Center for Strategic Affairs and Future Studies said on Wednesday.
"The early elections of the political crisis in Iraq after the escalation of protests by young demonstrators is an assessment of the position of the US Embassy in Baghdad submitted based on the political stability of the US Embassy to the US State Department and adopted by the White House and the US government," Hussein Allawi said.
He added that "in the light of the current crisis and the lack of political dialogue between the Iraqi forces, we need early elections as a political solution and it is possible that the solution is constitutionally run through the political context either by writing a joint request from the President and the Prime Minister or by demanding the blocs through their deputies."
