Parliamentary finance surprised by the continued loss of billions of dollars as a result of corruption of customs procedures

The Finance Committee, on Tuesday, expressed great surprise and deep concern about the way the government dealt with the issue of automation of customs and tax procedures at border ports, indicating that these measures caused the loss of billions of dollars.
The Commission said in a statement received (information) a copy of it "expresses great surprise and deep concern about the way the Iraqi government dealt with the issue of automation of customs and tax procedures in the border outlets, which is characterized by indifference and indifference and procrastination to resolve this issue."
She added that "negligence causes the waste of billions of dollars annually and we deplore the interventions and pressures exerted to stop and obstruct any action that would solve this issue and stop corruption in it."
She warned, "The government and the competent ministries that the House of Representatives in general and the Finance Committee in particular will take firm legal measures to uncover this file and its repercussions in the event of continuing this procrastination and procrastination."
