Thousands of demonstrators celebrated in Tahrir Square on Friday after Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi resigned.
A local source said, "Thousands of demonstrators went to [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/1797/%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%B1][size=13]Tahrir Square[/url] to express their joy at the resignation of the government headed by Adel Abdul Mahdi."
