    Information / Baghdad ..
The head of the Rafidain Parliamentary Bloc, Yonadam Kanna, revealed, on Saturday, the details of the mechanism for selecting the members of the new election commission, indicating that the law obliges the Judicial Council to select a first judge to supervise the electoral process, to be chosen by lot.
Kanna said in a statement to "Information" that "the law approved by the House of Representatives completely ends the authority of political parties over the Electoral Commission":
Kanna added, "The law requires the appointment of a first judge from each appeal, with five judges in each governorate and 3 members of the State Council chosen to supervise the election process."
He explained that "the requirement of the first judge is in order to ensure that the judge does not belong to any party and his long service in the administration of the judiciary without bias to any party." Ended / 25D
