The Iraqi oil minister, Thamer Al-Ghadban, has set, today, Friday, the ceiling for Iraq's oil production after the OPEC agreement of the exporting countries.
Al-Ghadban said in a press conference that "according to the agreement reached by the organization, Iraq’s production of crude oil cannot exceed four million, and 462 thousand barrels per day."On Friday, OPEC reached an agreement to reduce oil production by 500,000 barrels per day.
The agreement will enter into force early next year.
