Member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Sabah Al-Okaili, revealed, on Tuesday, the reasons for some MPs going to interrogate some ministers in Parliament during the coming days, stressing that some of the ministers ’actions contradict the daily caretaker law of the resigned government.
Al-Ugaili said in a statement to "Information", that "there is a tendency within Parliament to interrogate some ministers in the next few days due to the behavior of these ministers in contradiction with the law, especially since the government is conducting business and has no right to move further than that."
He added that "some of the ministers act as contracts and works as a genuine minister and not as a caretaker in a resigned government, and therefore there are those who are looking for spoils, perhaps before leaving the ministry."
Al-Uqaili explained, “There are question points about the contracts and actions that some ministers undertake, as they have no legal basis, since they are resigned and they are not entitled to dispose of such contracts.” 25 n ended
