    Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee Hoshyar Abdullah renewed the demand to assign the Ministry of Foreign Affairs employees who are minister-level delegated to the functions of the ambassador with their salaries remaining unchanged to fill the vacancy caused by referring a large number of ambassadors to retirement and to save expenses, addressed an official request to the Presidency of the House of Representatives in this regard.
    According to the request submitted by Abdullah, Al-Mirbad received a copy of it referring to the books recently issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that included ministerial orders to refer a number of ambassadors to retirement, based on Law No. 26 of 2019 Law of First Amendment of the Unified Retirement Law No. 9 of 2014, it reminds the Ministry With what was stated in his book No. 320 on December 1, 2019, which includes a proposal that the vacancy be filled in for ambassadors from the Ministry’s employees who are minister-level delegates to squeeze the expenses and avoid the problems caused by polarization and political conflicts, where moma can be assigned to them as ambassadors and head the Ba’ath This diplomatic practice in many countries, especially those suffering from financial and economic conditions difficult.
    Abdullah expressed his surprise at the lack of response of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to this proposal, noting that the difficult circumstance the country is going through cannot tolerate compliments, satisfy relatives, friends, and acquaintances, appoint them ambassadors, and spend large amounts of money on them, expressing his hope that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs places the interest of the people above all other considerations and applies this proposal and stops Appointment of new ambassadors
