Electricity Minister Louay al-Khatib responded to accusations that he said he was chasing him since he assumed his ministerial duties until this moment.
"This" deputy "did not calm the charges against me, according to her many claims that I do not have a certificate and I have become wealthier than the electricity contracts," al-Khatib said in a tweet seen by al-Mirbad.
He continued, "Also, the supervisory agencies are complicit in their silence on crimes whose secrets are known only to her and ... the final say will be said by the Iraqi judiciary."
Representative Alia Nassif had called on all regulatory authorities to intervene to prevent the Minister of Electricity from signing any contract during the caretaker government.
