{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The independent politician, Karim al-Nuri, considered that it is not correct to put a provocative figure for prime minister before the public.
Al-Nouri told {Al-Furat News} that “it is a paradox of the Tishrin demonstrations that it succeeded in sacking the government and the equation turned in the eyes of politicians to the arena of demonstrations to know the candidate.”
He added, "Iraq even before the demonstrations every moment in a matter and in a position, therefore, it is not possible to rely on these leaks related to the nomination of Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to head the government." "The President of the Republic is keen to choose a candidate that satisfies all parties, whether from the masses or political blocs."
Al-Nouri continued, "We need a candidate within the specifications that he be first and not loyal to Iraq and manage the stage by returning life and returning the demonstrators to their homes and holding early elections, which are difficult tasks."
He added, "The political class wants a person subject to its decisions and the Iraqi people refuse this," noting that "the basis for Adel Abdul-Mahdi's resignation came because of the huge public pressure, but if we leave the situation to the moods, we will not reach a candidate agreed upon by everyone."
He pointed out that "it is not correct to present a provocative figure to the public that must be far from the political class that has ruled Iraq for 16 years," calling on politicians to "thank the religious authority for preventing them from continuing bloodshed and corruption, and it has proven to be a safety valve to ensure Iraq and miss the stalkers, that is, An opportunity for country tension and strife. "
And he stated that "Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds were suffering from the seriousness of corruption, and that the sectarian lineup was destroyed by the demonstrators' feet in the demonstration arenas, and they gave an eloquent lesson to everyone. Therefore, some politicians try to mislead others that Shiism is a danger."
He pointed out that "external interference can not exist in the subject of the nomination of the Prime Minister, unless it was opened from the inside; but what happened in the arenas of demonstrations shrouded their hands and prevented them from interfering."
Al-Nouri commented about the individual circles in the new election law at the district level by saying that "going to this side in the election law will guarantee the people their rights, and parliament cannot violate the perceptions of the demonstrators, especially since there is a great harmony between the two sides."
Al-Nouri concluded by saying, "The possibility of restricting arms to the hands of the state, as it has become a concern for the Iraqi street, and when there is a brave Prime Minister, he can, with the support of the masses, confine arms to the state."
