Next Wednesday the opening of the air route between Iraq and Kuwait

Ministry of transport announced the opening of civil air flight route between Iraq and Kuwait on Wednesday.
The
Ministry statement, the Agency has received a copy of soldier killed
Monday, its Minister, Hadi al-Ameri, saying he "will be the opening of
the air route on Wednesday between Iraq and Kuwait, and will organize
the flight by the Iraqi Airways, for the first time in more than 23
years, after vigorous efforts have been launched by the competent
authorities of the two countries to solve inherited problems and the
resolution of legal proceedings".
The statement noted that "the
Transport Ministry delegation will travel to Kuwait for the opening of
the line, to be headed by the Ministry's technical agent banks rikani, a
number of officials, reflecting the importance of the event and the
interest of the Iraqi side by the Ministry of transport invited several
members of the House and the Kuwaiti Ambassador in Baghdad to
participate in the opening trip, and we hope that the opening of direct
air route to restore brotherly bilateral relations to better serve the
two brotherly peoples."
The Ministry of transport announced on 12
February, the current status of the Iraqi Airways finalized three
flights a week between Iraq and Kuwait, and will be the reality of
[Baghdad-Kuwait flight one, Najaf-Kuwait flights].
She noted that "Iraqi Airways awaits approval from Kuwait to determine ticket prices and flight times.
And
the dispute has ended and final settlement of the issue of Iraq with
Kuwait Airways after Kuwait was signed by Amir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah
on 23 October 2012 issued a decree to approve financial settlement,
following the signing of the two sides on a final settlement for Iraq to
pay the $ 500 million as a final compensation to Kuwait Airways..
