BAGHDAD / NINA / Kurdistan Alliance blocs held a meeting in the House of Representatives before attending the Council meeting scheduled to be held today to elect the candidate for the presidency.
A source in the National Alliance told the reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The Alliance will discuss its candidate for the presidency to be presented at today's meeting."
It is scheduled to hold a meeting of the House of Representatives today to choose the President of the Republic. The President of the Council, Salim al-Jubouri said that the number of candidates for the position of president exceeded 100 candidates and the choice will be without a political consensus.
