Every political system has its price in dollars, and every regional role has its price.
Kneeling is no longer in wars and sieges, but in degrading currency.
If history repeated itself, Washington would not have toppled Saddam through the war, which cost it thousands of billions, and would have contented itself with dollar missiles that would overthrow him within a year or two, but it held him back by a long encirclement, because it had not decided to overthrow him.
