Today, Sunday, the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the importance of supporting the private sector and reforming the banking system.
A statement from Al-Hakim's office, received by Mawazine News, stated: "This morning, Al-Hakim received the Ambassador of the United States of America in Baghdad, Elena Romansky, where developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region and ways to enhance cooperation between Baghdad and Washington were files present during the meeting."

The statement added, "Al-Hakim renewed his praise for the step of approving the tripartite budget, and indicated that its approval for three years will enable the government to implement its government program in accordance with government priorities," stressing "the importance of supporting the private sector and reforming the banking system to achieve sustainable development."
And between "the importance of moving the relationship with the United States of America from its security and military dimensions to the economic dimension and exchanging experiences in the educational and cultural fields," calling for "supporting the government and perpetuating the current stability."
He stressed "Iraq's role in bringing the views of the regional parties closer together."
