    The “Forces of Freedom and Change” coalition in Sudan called, on Saturday, for “expanding the umbrella of the forces supporting to stop the war in Sudan, and mobilizing popular efforts to end the war,” appreciating, at the conclusion of meetings in Cairo, which lasted four days, the efforts made in the “Platform.” Jeddah” by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United States, and regional organizations seeking to stop the war.[/size]

    [size=45]Muhammad Hassan Arabi, a member of the Executive Office of the Forces of Freedom and Change, confirmed to Asharq Al-Awsat, “The coalition’s support for (the Jeddah Platform), and the movements and initiatives undertaken by neighboring countries and (IGAD) in order to end the war.” Arabi added that the meetings discussed many political, military and humanitarian details in more depth, which will help the coalition strengthen its ambitious project to establish “a new homeland by presenting a vision for a founding period that precedes the transitional period that achieves the freedom and change project with a democratic civil transition.”[/size]
    [size=45]The coalition approved the organizational steps related to the unity of the civil democratic forces, which were recently completed in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, by announcing the formation of the Civil Democratic Forces Coordination (Taqaddum), while recommending the need to expedite the completion of the relevant arrangements to hold its founding conference within the time frame agreed upon between the components. “Progress”, in addition to outlining the road map and declaring the proposed principles of freedom and change to end the war, achieve peace, and re-establish a post-war Sudan.[/size]
