Al-Baldawi told Al-Ma’louma, “There is an urgent need to end the presence of the occupier inside Iraq, and to move towards supporting the resistance forces as they are the strong back of the security services to preserve Iraq’s sovereignty.”
He added, "The political move to end the presence of the international coalition inside Iraq is accompanied by a request from the United Nations and the Security Council to end the coalition according to the schedule that will be agreed upon by the negotiating committees." End 25 n.
