    Confirmed the GCT, on Thursday, that the tax in Iraq not apply to all sectors involved, including the sectors of agriculture, industry and limited to the oil sector and mobile phone companies, and noted that the imports in 2013 amounted to Trliuna and 300 billion dinars, with the expected increase in tax revenues during the current year , indicated that the Iraqi economy does not have yet to see a clear future because of its reliance on oil and the reluctance of other sectors.
    The Director General of the Commission Kazem Ali Abdullah said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The tax law is going according to Iraqi Systems accurate, current and clear to everyone," pointing out that "tax does not apply to all sectors operating in Iraq."
    Abdullah said that "the agriculture sector, which is from 5 to 6% of the GDP of the country and according to the law, it is not subject to tax," noting that "the industrial sector of Iraq is taxable unless he shall not have now collects the tax because it is ineffective and does not work as well" .
    He said Abdullah, "As for the sectors in which tax is calculated which are the oil sector and specifically companies licensing rounds, and this after the production of oil, which goes directly to the state, according to the contracts with the oil ministry," noting that "tax is calculated from the mobile phone companies operating in Iraq companies and diversified business. "
    He stressed Abdullah that "what has levied taxes during the year 2013 amounted to Trliuna and 300 billion dinars, while for imports year 2014, the Authority still has not closed the accounts of the year so far," expected to "be no increase in imports during the current year compared to last year due to increase the number of companies operating in Iraq. "
    He Abdullah that "the current law of the body as possible to serve for years to come, but this is not our ambition In case we want to develop tax law in Iraq, it should be no clear economic policy milestones in Iraq," attributing the cause to be "Iraq's economy is still Rieia depends Only on oil imports and the reluctance of other sectors, so it can not amend the law or developed unless we start setting the right foundations for the Iraqi economy and the application of functional system in a real state departments. "
