Turkey officially invited Iraqi foreign minister

Foreign Minister, Ibrahim al-Jaafary met with Turkish Ambassador, Farouk Qaemakji to discuss relationships between the two countries and prospects of developing them to serve the interest of countries as well as the security and political developments taking place in the Iraqi arena.
According to a ministry statement, "Jaafary confirmed that Iraq is keen to establish better relations with neighboring countries."
The statement added, "For his part, the Turkish Ambassador expressed his country's support for the efforts made in the fight against terrorism and face the risks, stressing the importance of exchanging visits between officials of the two countries to serve the bilateral relations."
The statement concluded, "The Ambassador invited Jaafary to visit Turkey to meets its officials."
