Today, Tuesday, Member of the House of Representatives, Yasser Al-Husseini, confirmed his rejection of the American guardianship over Iraq, calling on the government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to restrain the American Ambassador, Alina Romanowski.
Al-Husseini said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “We, as representatives, reject the appointment of the American Ambassador, Alina Romanowski, as President of the Republic of Iraq.”
He added, “The interventions of the Washington ambassador to Baghdad are negative and reprehensible in the internal affairs of Iraq. Therefore, we call on the government to stop the American guardianship.”
