President of the Federal Judiciary, Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud met at the headquarters of the federal judiciary on Thursday US Ambassador in Baghdad Stuart Jones.
A statement by the judicial authority received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of the "Judge Mahmoud stressed during the meeting the importance of the completion of the application of the strategic agreement between Iraq and the United States in the field of justice and law enforcement, and called for continued cooperation between the two countries in order to achieve the common interests between the two."
For his part, "the US ambassador praised the Iraqi judiciary and judicial staff in the performance of time going through the country's security conditions difficult, stressing Washington's support for Baghdad in various areas, including support for the independence of the judiciary and law enforcement," .anthy
