Shafaq News / A military official said on Tuesday, that the Iraqi army troops and fighters of "al-Salam Brigades" of the Popular Mobilization Units made progress on ISIS terrorist

organization in the areas west of Samarra with the launch of operations there.

The official told Shafaq News, that the liberalization of areas west of Samarra were launched under the leadership of the Iraqi army and al-Salam Brigades operations

The military official said that the military forces and al-Salam Brigades achieved significant progress in the liberalization process west of Samarra areas and inflicted ISIS terrorist organization with "significant” human and material losses.
