Moscow considers the statements of the US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter about the need to deter and pressure Russia inadmissible, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Thursday.MOSCOW (Sputnik) — In early February, Carter said that economic and political pressure on Russia had to remain "the main center of gravity" of the Western efforts to push back "the Russian aggression."
