4:05:02 4/9/2016 |(Voice of Iraq) - Baghdadrights estimates that the number ofjournalists killed in Iraq since the US invasion in 2003 , between 293 and 435 people, and spread their blood on several parts of the armed militias to unidentified US army and theorganization of the Islamic state. Since thestart of the US invasion and until November / November last, Iraq recorded the highest proportion oftargeting journalists in the region, Fmrsd freedoms in Iraq confirms deaths of 293 Iraqi journalists and foreigners, while saying journalists 'union gave the number of 435 journalists. He says freedoms observatory said about 200 journalists were killed by unidentified gunmen or militias, while killing 56 journalists have beenkilled while in the places theyoccurred explosions, 22 journalists were killed by US troops during theoccupation ofIraq, and two others were killed by Iraqi forces. and killed last year , 22 journalists, at a time whenthe number reached itspeak in thefour years between 2004 and 2007, after that the killing of only 7 in 2003 thenumber rose to 52 journalists in 2004, then reached in thenext three years 42, 60 and 50 journalists respectively.during 2014 and 2015 wereinjured and killed 34 journalists inIraq, and thatwas in sync with thecontrol of state regulation on several areas, the most important ofMosul .according toreporters without borders (RSF), there have been 48 cases ofabduction of journalists during the last term itself, especially in Mosul. and offers 29% of the slain journalists detained before beingkilled, and offers 41% ofthem to Tahedadgrd text across Twitter, while gained 7 percent share of torture , according to the Committee to protect journalists. theCommittee adds that theachievement ofjustice and tohold theperpetrators GABA for 99% of cases of killings ofjournalists, making Iraq the 156 position out of180 in the area of press freedom, according to areport byreporters without borders issued last year. Add comment
