Trump Destroys Establishment, Slams Globalism While Sanders May Have Just Doomed Democrats In November
By Susan Duclos - All News PipeLine
The so-called "elite," being the political establishment globalists, suffered a crushing blow on Super Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at the hands of GOP frontrunner for the presidential nomination, Donald J. Trump, as he swept all five primaries and did so by taking over 50 percent of the vote in three states, CT, MD and PA and over 60 percent of the vote in DE and RI.
While polling results prior to Tuesday suggested Trump had a commanding lead in those states' contests, all underestimated the scope of that lead, which in turn has led to some attempts at explaining what many have dubbed the "Trump Phenomenon."
For example, the Democrats polling guru, Nate Silver at Five Thirty Eight, the same man that in August 2015, predicted Trump only had a 2 percent chance of becoming the GOP nominee as he explained what he believed would be "Trump’s Six Stages Of Doom," is now headlining with "It’s Trump’s Nomination To Lose," as he goes on to explain he thinks that Trump isn't responsible for the Tuesday's blow-out, but rather the "anti-Trump Republicans are discouraged," and the "#NeverTrump voters," might just be staying home rather than heading to the polls to vote for a candidate in which polling told them couldn't win anyway.
The fact is Trump has outsmarted the GOP political establishment at every turn. He has done this by refusing to play the game by their rules, by highlighting the "system" and the rigged rules, by putting a bright spotlight on party leaders and their desperate attempts to stop him from obtaining the GOP nomination for President and by exposing the men behind the curtain, so to speak, that have always "selected" the nominee rather than respecting the peoples' right to "elect" the nominee.
The far left liberal New York Times is headlining that Donald Trump is probably two states away from victory and stating in another article "If Donald J. Trump maintains his current level of support in the remaining races, he will win a delegate majority before the convention." Trump himself is saying he already considers himself the presumptive nominee.
Side Note -Another aspect of Tuesday's contests which has been downplayed to a certain degreee is that John Kasich took second place in 4 out of the 5 primaries with Ted Cruz only taking second place behind Trump in one state, Pennsylvania.
The next day after delivering such a resounding defeat to the anti-Trump forces, Trump slammed globalism in a Foreign Policy speech, once again appealing to those that are sick and tired of seeing American leaders treat other countries citizens better than they treat their own citizenry.
" ‘America first’ will be the major and overriding theme of my administration,” Trump said.
“No American citizen will ever feel that their needs come second to a citizen of a foreign country . . . I will be America’s greatest defender and most loyal champion.”
“We will no longer surrender this country or its people to the false song of globalism . . . I’m skeptical of international unions that tie us up and bring America down. And under my administration, we will never enter America into any agreement that reduces our ability to control our own affairs,” he said, citing the North American Free Trade Agreement.
Compare the Trump Doctrine (seen below) to Barack Obama's NWO speech at the UN last September where his push for a One World Government, which would put everyone elses needs above Americas. (Full transcript of Obama's UN speech at this link)
While Trump now has his sights set on Hillary Clinton and providing a stark contrast between her policies and what he would do, it appears that Trump has just gotten a little help in that department by none other than Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders, who announces at a town hall with MSNBC that he would not tell his supporters to vote for Hillary in the general election if she becomes the Democratic nominee.
"We’re not a movement where I can snap my fingers and say to you or to anybody else what you should do, that you should all listen to me. You shouldn’t. You make these decisions yourself," Sanders said when asked if he would support Clinton.
"And if Secretary Clinton wins, it is incumbent upon her to tell millions of people who right now do not believe in establishment politics or establishment economics, who have serious misgivings about a candidate who has received millions of dollars from Wall Street and other special interests," he added. "She has got to go out to you."
Conservative Tribune believes Sanders' statement "May Have Just Handed Race to Trump."
If Sanders chooses to walk away and not lend his support to Clinton, there goes his base and there goes the election. Even Clinton’s supporters admit she’s not that exciting and is getting the nomination mostly because it’s her turn.
Therefore, if Trump is the nominee — something that’s looking more and more likely after the thumping he delivered Tuesday night in the so-called “Acela states” — his path to the White House is looking more and more assured. Thanks, Bernie!
BOTTOM LINE
With the most recent report from Bloomberg that the Cruz-Kasich deal in a last ditch effort to "Stop Trump" is backfiring in a big way with Indiana Kasich supporters now "coming into the office to pick up Trump signs," said Laura Campbell, Republican chairwoman of Hamilton County, stating that "People are not happy here with that alliance," we seem to be watching the anti-Trump forces simply implode as they make one bad decision after another in their panicked attempts to derail Trump.
Donald Trump has destroyed the political process, exposed the Republicans' dirty little secret back-room deals for the world to see and it appears that voters have finally said "Enough is enough."
There is a very high likelihood, in fact a high probability that Donald Trump is going to be the GOP nominee for President and perhaps it is time for Republicans to unite to defeat Hillary Clinton, rather than continuing to destroy the Republican party from within, simply because the "elite" globalists and the political establishment is threatened by a potential Trump presidency.
