Diwaniya Provincial Council signed a number of memorandums of understanding with the Chinese company Shanghai.
The head of the provincial council Jabir Salman al-Jubouri, said in a statement seen by Agence our economy news, he was signed memoranda of understanding with the Chinese company included the establishment of an oil refinery with capacity of 100 to 150 thousand barrels per day and the plant thermal power 990 MW capacity in terms of Shinafiyah way investment.
He added that the MOUs include the completion of the infrastructure for a number of projects and Order on credit and investment in the industrial city through financing, design and implementation.
