Iraq's ambassador to the United Nations Mohammed Ali Hakim said the Iraqi government has opened safe corridors for the people of Fallujah.
He said al-Hakim, in a speech to the United Nations, that "Daash used Fallujah residents as human shields."
The UN Security Council has held a meeting on Friday discussed the situation in Iraq.
He informed the UN representative in Iraq, Jan Kubis in his hearing, said that "Iraq is facing a deep and complex political crisis."
