Steve Warren: our priorities edit Mosul, the largest city in northern Iraq from the control Daash

A US military spokesman said Friday that the organization Daash radical, uses snipers to prevent civilians from leaving the city of Fallujah, west of Baghdad, under his control and besieged by government forces.
He said Lt. Col. Steve Warren told reporters at the Pentagon via video conference from Baghdad, said the militants placed snipers in places oversees the corridors evacuation of civilians held by government forces to prevent the departure of the city 's population suffering from a massive shortage of basic materials. He said: 'We know that the Iraqis had tried to repeatedly to open humanitarian corridors so that some of these civilians from leaving, but these efforts did not succeed in general, because the organization Daash take measures such as placing snipers to cover these corridors in order to kill people when they try to leave, and this is what led to discourage people from using it . " He continued ' I do not need and that the news has spread because no civilians tried to use these corridors over the past weeks. " he noted the US military spokesman said Fallujah' was the first city controlled by the entire organization Daash more than two years, and thus is pervasive in which the pervasive them deeply. This is a difficult knot for us, it 's a tough knot for the Iraqi forces. " But Colonel Warren pointed out that defeating militants from Fallujah has no currently importance of military, because the priority is to defeat them from Mosul, the largest city in northern Iraq. He said: 'There is no military reason 'Iraqi forces to liberate Fallujah paid before the liberation of Mosul.
