Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump said Saturday Hillary Clinton shouldn’t be “surrounded” by armed guards given her pro-gun control positions
Referring to the presumptive Democratic nominee as “crooked Hillary,” Trump — as he’s become known to do — blasted out his scathing message on Twitter.
Trump’s tweet echoed the message he delivered at the National Rifle Association’s annual convention in Louisville in which he called on Clinton to stop allowing her Secret Service detail to use firearms to protect her. The NRA also endorsed Trump on Friday.
“Let’s see how they feel walking around without their guns and their bodyguards,” Trump said to cheering gun supporters.
Clinton recently called Trump’s stance on guns “not only way out there,” but also “dangerous” to America.
