Kuwait - Iraq Press - July 14: The Minister ofCanadian Defense Harjit Sajjan, said his government plans to arm the Peshmerga Kurdish fighters in Iraq.
Sagan said the existing state of Kuwait in the press conference via closed - circuit television that "his country intends to provide light weapons to thePeshmerga forces to support them in their fight against the Daash but without providing any information about the types of weapons or thetimetable for delivery.
He said Sagan , "The light weapons are those that need it on the ground."
He stressed that any delay in this matter is causedby a conflict does not come back with the Turkish government, but the necessary government action in Ottawa.
"We are making more effort to communicate directly with Turkish officials we have been enjoyed by encouraging them to hand over weapons , " adding , "We are very aware of the fact that it is not obligatory to create any problems."
