Announced Wasit police headquarters, on Monday, the arrest of more than 100 accused of criminal and terrorist issues during the raid and search campaign in several regions of the province, its center of Kut, (180 kilometers) south of Baghdad, and as pointed out that the operation was based on court orders, confirmed the assignment of all detainees to investigative authorities competent to display on the judiciary. He said the provincial police chief, Maj. Gen. Qasim Rashid Zuid in an interview (range Press), "The various configurations of the police, carried out a raid and search operation and a wide covered several areas to maintain in search of suspects and wanted to eliminate," noting that "The operation resulted in the arrest of 101 accused of crimes different. " He Zuid, that "these arrests included a number of wanted robbery and possession of narcotics and other criminal offenses crimes," stressing that "the detainees accused of wanted terrorist issues." He pointed the provincial police chief, said "the arrests were based on warrants," he "All wanted to transfer several security centers of detention for interrogation on the background of the charges against them."
