    The Iraqi Oil Ministry on Saturday, for the export of a new shipment of liquid gas, the amount of 1600 tons from the port of Umm Qasr, south-west of Basra (590 km south of Baghdad), while confirming the export of 24 thousand cubic meters of gas condensate.
    Said Undersecretary for gas industry Hamid Yunis, in a statement received (range Press), a copy of which, "The ministry has exported a new shipment of gas condensate from the port of Umm Qasr in southern Iraq, and the amount of 24 thousand cubic meters, and other shipment of liquid gas quantity ( 1600 tonnes). "
    Undersecretary of the ministry, adding that "the quantity exported from the liquid gas referred to are part of a planned total quantity exported by the Basra Gas Company for the month of July, which amounts to 10,000 tons."
    For his part, said a spokesman for the Oil Ministry, Assem Jihad, according to the statement that "the Ministry is going ahead rehabilitation platforms and export pipelines in the port of Umm Qasr, the aim of accepting heavy lift specialized tankers in order to ensure the flow of gas liquid to world markets high export cards in order to ensure financial revenues supply the Federal Treasury "noting that" hopefully the end of the rehabilitation end of September next project. "
    The Oil Ministry announced on Saturday (July 2, 2016), the first shipment of liquefied gas through a dedicated port for the export of gas in the province of Basra, while suggesting it is in the process of implementing a strategic plan aimed at ending the phenomenon associated with the extraction of oil gas flaring by the year 2018.
    The Oil Ministry announced the (March 20, 2016) to export the first shipment of surplus for the local need of gas condensate (Alkondnci) by a Panamanian tanker, then the later Ptsidirthelath other shipments through the Oil Marketing Company (SOMO).
