    Urged Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari on Saturday, his Austrian counterpart to open an embassy in Baghdad, while invited to the signing of an investment agreement between the two countries.
    Said Jaafari's office said in a statement received (Il Giornale) copy of it, "al-Jaafari met with his Austrian counterpart Sebastian Kurz in Washington," noting that "the two sides addressed the overall bilateral relations between the two countries, regional and international issues of mutual interest and issues, and on international efforts to combat terrorism in the world, in particular the efforts of the international coalition against Daash. "
    Jaafari urged according to the statement, the Austrian side to "open an embassy in Baghdad, in order to strengthen bilateral relations," expressing his "interest of Iraq activating the work of the Joint Commission between the two countries, through the exchange of visits at all levels, as well as the signing of an agreement investment between the two countries."
     For his part, Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz for "his country's aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations with Iraq, and to achieve a qualitative leap in cooperation between the two countries" .anthy 3
