A source in the presidency said that President Fuad Masum, will not participate in the Arab summit to be held in Mauritania, as pointed out that infallible Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari was commissioned headed the Iraqi delegation.
The source said in an interview, "The president Fuad Masum, will not participate in the Arab summit to be held tomorrow in Mauritania," attributing it to "the existence of political issues in Baghdad require his presence."
The source, who asked not to be named, said: "infallible Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari was commissioned headed the Iraqi delegation at the summit."
It is scheduled to hold the Arab summit conference in the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott on Monday and Tuesday.
