Julian Assange Says He Has ‘Proof’ Hillary Clinton Had a Hand in Arming ISIS

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is again giving interviews, claiming that he’s about to release emails that show Hillary Clinton accidentally armed ISIS attackers in Syria.
Speaking to Democracy Now! media, Assange said that his new documents (coupled with emails already available from the State Department, thanks to a Freedom of Information Act request) will demonstrate Clinton’s woefully inept handling of Middle East policy.
He claims that once the entire catalog of communication is available, her most disastrous efforts in Libya and Syria will become clear.
According to the Washington Examiner, rifles, grenades and and some missiles did make their way from Libya to Syria—and some did end up in ISIS’s hands. During Clinton’s testimony in front of the House Committee on Benghazi, Sen. Rand Paul asked Clinton if she had any direct knowledge of how that weapons trade worked. She told Sen. Paul that she “had no information on that matter.”
Assange seems to say differently.
Of course, Assange has been threatening to release emails and communications from a massive hack of DNC and Clinton campaign servers for weeks, without much action. The DNC document dump, which Wikileaks published right before the Democratic National Convention, was a blockbuster, causing a major uproar among progressive Democrats and costing Debbie Wasserman-Schultz her DNC chairmanship.
Since then, though, Wikileaks has only released a handful of audio recordings, none of which featured groundbreaking content. But there are still 100 days left in this campaign—plenty of time for a bombshell.

Proving Clinton had a hand in arming ISIS, however accidentally, is a tall order even for Assange. But if he is somehow able to demonstrate that she had knowledge of an arms operation running guns to Syrian rebels, she could be on the hook for lying under oath to Congressional investigators.So, those Hillary Clinton emails, they connect together with the cables that we have published of Hillary Clinton, creating a rich picture of how Hillary Clinton performs in office, but, more broadly, how the U.S. Department of State operates. So, for example, the disastrous, absolutely disastrous intervention in Libya, the destruction of the Gaddafi government, which led to the occupation of ISIS of large segments of that country, weapons flows going over to Syria, being pushed by Hillary Clinton, into jihadists within Syria, including ISIS, that’s there in those emails.
